Vortech FMU (12:1 Disk)
I need to install a temporary fuel management on my FM I/Begi kit until I put my link and RC injectors 9in a couple of weeks). Since I need a fuel management system to run it safely, thought i will install the vortech FMU, but was wondering if i need also an additional fuel pump (pierburg) or walbro, or can I use the Vortech alone.

Just depends on how much boost you want to run in the meantime and how much fuel pressure your stock fuel pump can manage. Keep in mind that if you do plan on running more than 5 psi, your 12:1 disk will be asking whatever pump your using to put out 100 or more psi at the rail. In other words, you'll be running pig rich unless you change Vortech disks to accomodate.
It would be a lot less of a hassle to keep the boost turned down until you get your final set-up. Installing the my Pierburg was a pita (unless you have access to a lift) and I didn't particularly like opening up my fuel tank to change out my stocker.
