Where I'm at I don't have a local shop that isn't 200 miles or more away that can work with me.

My 94 had a catastrophic crank nose failure. I should have been more suspect when it vibrated a bit more than usual. I'd like a nice low mileage replacement.


Can anybody point me to a reliable source for engine/trans sets ?

Damn, sucks you are so far away... i have one with only 30k miles on it... BUT... its also just a 1.6... nobody wants those.... hahaha

 

Interested. All the salvages near by are asking insane money for engines with 130k+ miles on them.

I wouldn't mind buying a JDM engine, but no idea which companies are reputable.

 

Drive here to NorCal and get a mint 60k vvt engine from my brother lol
