I just got my new mazda comp motor mounts today from forum member (Thanks). I went to put them in a box that contained parts that came with my donor motor. I forgot that I got motor mount brackets with the engine. Then I noticed that the engine mount brackets happened to contain motor mounts. So I want to compare the robustness of the stock vs. mazda comp. mounts. Low and behold, the mounts in the bracket have the same number, graphic, etc markings on them. Now I am thinking that I already had a set of mazda comp mounts and didn't even know it.

For those playing devils advocate: I am NOT suggesting that the seller sold me non-mazda comp. mounts.

 

Stock ones are torn in half, Mazdaspeed mounts are not.

 

Mounts that came with block that is at machine shop were torn in half.

 

Seriously, no one has any info on this? I'm about to re-list my new mounts here on the forum. I don't want to sell them and find out that I needed them. Could someone post a pic of both sides of the mazda comp mounts. I don't know how many miles the mazda comp mounts are supposed to last, but I'm sure I probably don't need to hold onto a spare set.
