I'm rebuilding a wrecked 92 with turbo and mspnp. I finally got it started last night after charging the old battery and replacing the negative cable and it ran most of the day. After sitting a couple hours we had trouble starting it.

At first it would not turn over. We hooked a charger to the battery and now it is turning again. However, the rpms were up and down and the car dies.

I got a new battery and the car starts without the charger and the rpms are still up and down. If the fan or lights come on the car comes close to turning off and revs a few times and then dies.

Hooking a charger to the new battery keeps the car alive with the accessories on, but the rpms are still all over the place.
