I just received some used injectors and (B),(C) were missing and the pintle cap was cracked.

1) Will Injector Rehab replace these missing/cracked items?

2) (A) has the tip stuck out (pintle valve tip?). I illustrated how it looks in blue. It's sticking out like a boner. Will this be a problem?

Based on my experience at 2 other online injector cleaners, B and C will be included in the price of the cleaning... but A will probably be a dollar or three. I haven't done business with IR, but that's how the other two places wrote up my invoice.

 

Any ideas on (A) pintle valve sticking out like that? Uploaded actual picture.

 

thats how it's supposed to look when it's closed. it pulls back when open and lets fuel out.

 

The other injectors I have look this. No pintle valve sticking out of the hole.

 

that's because the plastic cap is broken on this one. look inside the hole in the cap on the others.

 

I have a set of tan tops that looks like that, I didn't want to put them up for sale for this reason.

I managed to **** them up by trying to force them in instad of wiggling them in...
The "boner" thing is normal.

The one to the right is messed up, stuck open.
They might be able to fix that, might not.

 

Are you sure about this? That means that the other 3 that I have are stuck open and jacked? And the one I thought was jacked is actually good? Can anyone clarify? Confused.

 

the pintle should be sticking out to close the injector. i have 15 denso injectors in front of me. all look like the one on the left. Do not use the ones with the pintle not sticking out.

They may be able to unstick them at an injector cleaning place.

 

no, it means that one injector is good and the other (more than likely because the cap was missing and injector was mishandled) the pintle broke off.

Injector on the right is trash.

-The cap to "A" would be replaced as well as the lower grommet that goes over it
-"B" and "C" will be replaced as well as the internal filter
