FWIW I found a local place here that would install the glass with defrost labor, parts, and tax out the door for 250. I was looking as I had a lead on a HT that needed glass for 100, but the deal fell through. Anyways, that said I got my HT for 900 with defrost and liner.

What color's your top Sam? When I bought mine it was white and I white and I thought it wouldn't look too bad on my silver 99. WRONG!!! It looked hideous. Next day I paited it rattle can silver from O'Reilly's.

Now thats a thought. We have several glass places around here. They are the guys you get sent too if you need warranty work on your car for example. They mainly install knockoff chinese glass.

I wonder if they would be able to do a miata rear window with a defroster.

Or they may even have a better solution for you adding defrost to your current window. Is your car wired for defrost at all, if so do you have all of the switches, relays, etc...?

marina green mica.

Ill plop the top on today and take another look at it. Its kinda hard to tell the difference because all it lacks is the metal flake. I wouldn't mind getting it color matched though, then they can fix up all the scratches that I put into it.
