Default Interesting Miata Video

Just saw this on youtube. Its a magic Miata that runs off of 440cc injectors with only EM Blue. I imagine his AFR is nuts.. anywho, kinda neat, seems to be making fun of M.net.

My 305cc injectors idled right up without ANYTHING on a COMPLETELY stock ECU. No EMB, no RX7 AFM, no AFC, no nothing.

The idle however was overly rich. The ONLY thing i had to do on a COMPLETELY stock ECU was turn ONE screw to adjust the idle mixture to achieve a perfect idle at 14.7:1 AFR.

his injectors are clickin' like crazy though.

Yea, I can see 305's working, but I think 440's might be a tad overkill.

I noticed absolutely no difference between 1.8's and 305's as far as driveability... of course I was cramming up to 18psi in there and didn't know it for awhile and not hurting anything that I could tell (thanks to 130psi of fuel pressure). It idled just fine.

I thought for awhile that I did have a major idle problem until I did some research "over there" and discovered how IAC's get gunked up over time and cause a bounding idle problem (not idle droop). Will be fixed as soon as it's running again (COME ON COMPRESSOR ADAPTERS!!!).
