I just bougth konig heliums from www.buywheelstoday.com...they are nice people there. Their prices were better than goodwinracing and they include everything even lug nuts. I went with Toyo Proxes 4 205/50/15. Should I have gone with a different sized tire? I had 205/40/17 on some racing hart wheels, and they car looked like a matchbox car with wheels that big..oh yea..i went with the color bronze. I would definately recommend the proxes 4 tires...they seem real sticky

pretty much set for the toyos yes, it's still a daily driver, and i can't spend that amount for tires every year, so i expect the toyos to last at least 2/3 seasons of 'spirited' street driving and an occasional trackday. Plus the azenis or rs2's just aren't available here...(holland..)
just having the tires fitted in 205-45-15 is gonna cost 450 euros..(about $550?)
go figure..

Whats the treadware rating on the toyos? Do you have any other options? I have never had toyos, but I had some Nitto 450s that were aweful (came with a set of wheels) and I currently have Michelin pilots that are great (swapped them with another miata I bought to sell). We have a new set of Dayton tires on our accord that are absolutely horrible in every category and I should cut them off the rims with a razer (installed right before we bought it). I guess my point is that there are crappy tires out there but you should be good with the toyos.

ok, stupid question, in what order do you need to put the air valve in the wheel? 2 rubber rings, 1 metal washer and 2 nuts... :gay:

well you need to put one of the rubber rings over your washer (keep the second in case the first one busts) Your 2 nuts should hang freely.

Cars look great. Those really work well on a miata. I am borrowing a set of Rotas this summer. Can't wait.
