The Rotrex was purchased for my wife, who happens to be a fairly inexperienced driver on the course and who doesn't need to be frightened by a wall of torque. I quite enjoy having my wife participate in motorsports with me and find it wise to keep the drive largely uneventful until she's garnered more seat time.

Thanks for sharing the 'strap-on' experience.

Now I see. You're bitter because you have a jacked-up, poorly running turbo car with "gobs of torque".
Sweet! How's that detonation working out for you? Bet that's a kick in the pants.

LOL, dude we're just bored and trolling you. No need to defend yourself or your purchase. Any FI miata is better than an NA miata, and an NA miata is still awesome in my book.

I know how this site works, I expected it. I am quite capable of trolling back and defending myself against douchebaggery.

First mistake was buying from an illiterate company that can't manage to spell its own name properly.

For the low low price of $4k you could have 150lb/ft of torque.

It wasn't near 4k and it's 157/ft lbs.

I get it, they produce little usable torque.
Don't tell anyone, but I'm a turbo guy at heart. I've owned plenty of turbo cars- My current being a 363whp Speed3. This is my first belt driven compressor, so we'll see how it goes.

Besides, it's not a Greddy system, so it should run longer than 2k miles without a complete overhaul.
