So I've had my LC-1 with the G3 gauge on my car for about 9 months now, and I always noticed that when I start the car, the gauge reads all the way rich for a while, and then it moves up to where it should be. I assume this is a delay period for the heater? I just wondered, cause now my LC-1 is hooked to my MS and if it does this delay on start-up...then the MS won't be reading O2 signal till the O2 sensor heats up right?
Approx 30 seconds after startup is the warmup time for the sensor, where it'll read rich or lean (mine reads like 7:1 rich...) then it goes normal. Thats typical.
If you hook your computer up to the LC-1 and open the LM Log Viewer, it'll indicate the warmup percentage while your gauge shows rich.
