Getting started on installing this, and sorting out the wiring. Obiously, there are wires to connect to a gauge.
Do I need one, or is it just another pretty light? Will it actually help me tune, or is it something that once things are tuned correctly that will be just eye candy?

Thanks. Can you recommend one? I sorta like the Innovate digital ones (except for the lighted logo), but the rest of the gauges I have are autometer with black bezels and white faces. I'd kinda like them to look the same.

Maybe you can find an old Innovate gauge like the one I have. VEI makes some that look as good as the old Innovate gauge, I'd buy one of those but they are black and I can tell from your previous post that you don't like blacks.
I've got this one. I thought visibility was better than the digital Innovate ones.

That's for the gauge, sensor and controller. The gauge itself (on the same site) is only $99, which is inline with the prices for other gauges I've seen.
Right now I have boost and FP gauges in the autometer (white face, black rim). I have room for three gauges, one of which will be boost. But I'd like all three to match, so I'm looking around for ones I like.

I did the VEI dual gauge, MAP/Boost + AFR (in blue). Space and cost efficient and gives me the parameters I want to keep an eye on. Follow Hustler's link.
Of course, it didn't help me to detect retarded Peterbilt drivers.

irc you can feed a narrowband o2 for poormans WB as it is getting a true wideband signal. but it wont go under 12 or above 15...
or sell it and go MTX-L to save space since you dont need the logging aspect...

Actually, the gauge alone is $99 now from the store. In the ballpark of the innovate gauges which look like handheld video games from Mattel.
