I have a nice set of tan leather nb2 seats and i want to put them in my na but i want to recolor them to black because tan is a yucky color in my opinion. I'm a mechanical guy so art and painting isn't my forte at all.
Ideally only want to do it once and don't want to deal with the dye rubbing off or fading in one season. I want it to look good and last a long time. Any particular brands to use or avoid? What kind of prep work should i do; is scuffing necessary?

 

I dyed my tan seats tan, when I fixed the cracks. I used Leatherique. They got a whole system for cleaning, sanding etc. Lot of work but they come out good.
