Older miatas just do that. I wouldn't worry about it. Mine does it. And then it stops when pressure pumps up. If it does it at idle. Just idle it up some. If it is terrible I would add slick 50.
And for the nut suckers that wanna argue. The motor is ticking anyway. Drive it like you stole it.

run 1/4 quart of ATF for like 1k miles, then change the oil. Don't be such a ------ about it.

Thicker oil solved mine. Went from 10-30 to 10-40 and all better. Always Mobil 1
