I still think that adding some projector driving lights with HIDs would help you without getting into the headlights. Also, some good driving lights will help fill in the nasty hotspots that 99/00 lights give out when squeezing more lumens out of them.

The only problem with driving lights is even in the highest possible mounting position (in the bumper between the turn signals) they are still too low to really be effectively aimed. You either end up with light right in front of you, or light spread all out over the place. A good projector setup with HID's would probably be better though, since they don't typically have the crappy spread out pattern a lot of driving lights do.

great call on the bulb's.

Night and day difference. Great bright white color, no ricer blue at all. Neither does it have the terrible want to be HID scatter or blinding factor.

Told you so! Glad you like them. Unfortunately I have a set just sitting here, that will probably never be used. I would feel too bad about downgrading from 85W to 55W. They will make great spares though.
