Well, almost. Replaced the soft/hard clutch lines, filled and bled clutch. Replaced brake lines, remounted rotors and calipers. Replaced spark plugs and plug wiring. Did find the knock sensor had been chewed, and a couple underneath that we have to figure out what they go to.

But IT STARTED AND RAN. We ran it less than a minute a couple times, but it starts cleanly, no apparent misses or weird noises coming from anywhere, idles around 1200 (Which he says is what he remembers as normal). We will run it a few times more and then change the fuel filter. So close to drivable again!
