Default Local Shops for 3.6 Ring and Pinion Install (SF Area)

Anyone know of a shop in the San Francisco Bay area which would be willing to toss in a Ring and Pinion? I'd prefer to go to someone that is recommeded rather than going to some shop I have no idea about.

Recently I lucky enough to pick up a rear end from an 82 Mazda 626. Now that I have the ring and pinion I'd like to get it installed for my turbo set up which I plan on getting soon.

Any recommendations would me much appreciated.

Wow, count the teeth on both the ring and pinion gears, and post up please. I don't know of anyone who has actually found the fabled 626 3.63.

and you can get a chili cheese dog at weinerschnitzel right next door. mmm.

Surprised no one saw it on Ebay. I would have sworn someone would have jumped on it. I know how rare those rear ends are and even missed the auctions bidding. Luckily the guy still had it available and was willing to sell it.

What can I say, must be the luck of the irish. hehe

I will definately make sure to count the teeth. And I will let you all know once I get it installed.

Gear finally arrived. Here's the pic of it.

Also I picked this up on Ebay. Here is the bid however, if you notice no one even bid on it, which is why I was quite surprised knowing how rare this type of item is.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...226242450&rd=1

I was lucky enough to pick it up for only 60 bucks which included shipping. I now have a few more dollars to invest in the next part of the turbo setup for the car. It's either that or for the money the shop is going to charge me to install it.

I like how you "conveniently" placed the ring gear around the Durex 50% off sales ad.

Thanks Savington. I will definately make a note of that before I get it installed. I've read up on it and it sounds like something I would like to have done as well.

THANKS again!

I can't count the teeth on the pinion. Count them and post up or take a new picture. Please, just interested.

Damn, that's a 3.6. I'd totally get it cryo'd too. You still won't have anything in it, and it will never break.

Found a place to Cryo-Treat the gear and pinion for $75 flat fee or up to 21 lbs worth of metal.

http://www.300below.com/

Is that a decent price? And if it is I will be sending it in within the next day or so.

Thanks Fella's I really appreciate all your help thus far. More postings and pics to come!
