Not the end of the world. Negotiation opportunity.
You're financing, right? Will your bank finance a salvage title car?
have you talked to the guy with the lava orange? Depending on what all happened it might be a great way to go.

Huh. Could be reflecting the bottom of the hood?
I'm not a bodywork guy, but I'm having trouble of thinking what/how they would be spraying and accidentally overspray onto that piece, when it is so easy to remove.
Dunno. But Curly and I will be happy to go see it for you.
edit: OIC, yeah if they were doing the bumper I could see how that could happen. But front bumper respray isn't that big a deal. They get scratched easy, and they bend a bunch before they break.

No need to zoom, it's painfully obvious.
It's worth looking at, but seriously... give the guy with the salvage orange one a call. Really.
If he is a complete moron and clueless, then you'll know it's a waste of time. If he's straightforward about what happened, if he knows about the car, etc and is willing to sell it cheap, then it's a strong option. Salvage will always be worth less, but if you're going to mod much and track it, why not?
Just a thought. I think it's worth a phone call.
Then again, I DO currently have my own thread titled "REBUILD ALL THE SALVAGE MIATAS! ***!" So what do I know.

So here is the pictures of the damage on the salvage car. The guy said he bought it after it was fixed, and there was no mechanical damage he knows of. Eh I dunno the front looks pretty banged up.

I bet you per the insurance company estimate there is about 1k worth of damage to rear, and probably 2k worth to front.
So still not enough to salvage a 9-10k msm.
bet it has frame damage

Did you ask him how he managed to get excellent original paint back on the car after that?
Edit: you people post quickly.
