It's extremely easy to change injectors so I'll take them with me to the dyno and that way I'll have them when I go. Thanks so much for the link and help. Mark PS. At the moment, I hadn't done anything with ignition timing. Tom said just to retard the timing by like 4 degrees and see how it is instead of buying an ignition timing card right now. i'm assuming I'm going to need one. My other question to you is what do you think of a Bipes controller other than the ignition timing card Tom sells? Thanks again. This PM is from one of Tom's customers. Tom first told him that he does not need to change his injectors to run 210 whp on his stock 95 fuel system. Now he's telling him to knock back timing instead of getting ignition management? |
I want some peking duck.

i just replied too. damn used car salesmen over there.

I haven't been real active over there lately as I'm traveling on business all this week. Lots and lots of dreadfully boring meetings. However we've been dining well- last night I had brazed duck with cherry sauce. Absolutely wonderful.

Not everyone needs power though Ben, they buy the supercharger so they can retard timing and end of with stock power, duh. |
This is by far the funniest thread in a long time.

... and now I'm getting jumped on by Tom over in the FI forum where, as far as I can tell, I was positive and complimentary of the TimingThingy!

The worst part to me is that, after all the debate, more lemmings are flocking to the PC lineup. Unbelievable; it's the "Consumer Reports" mentality.

that tom guy is a dumbass. just wow.

"Sometimes people use the term "Map" based to refer to the rows and columns use in old technology controls like the Split Second."
"The PC-Pro technology does have MAP but not Map. No cells, no rows, no columns. It is all done by 21st century equations." "There are 8 lights to show settings and the RPM zones are 1* per light." 3 buttons and 8 lights? AND 21st century equations?! Sure beats the hell out of using a 3d map! |
