Ok so my car has been down for a like two months or so due to it blowing up...
i'll let the pictures explain...

how the car is looking so far...

took the tranny out..

after saving some money..i started to order everything i need..so here it goes..

that's what i ordered for now...i then decided to take the rest of the engine out of the car and apart...
the blown bottom end..






after that was done..this is whats left..

I started to order more stuff...started to mazdaspeed competition mounts...








things i have piled up..

now taking the head,block and crankshaft to get some machining..

heads back from the shop nice and clean..


bottom end is done with the rods and pistons

 

new forged oil pump with billet steel oil gears

no need for engine stand haha..



cleaning out the oil pan and doing the tap..





water pump is coming in

and this beautiful damper im in love with...



head studs are in..

retards sent me the wrong size gasket set so had to get a new one...and my money back ..

one more thing in the mail..


the next day i came back to the shop and i found this.

 

the engine is set and ready to go, timing has been done to raise the torque as well as horse power.. more pics will come up when i dropping it in tuesday if you guys wanna help i would gladly appreciate it..let me know i need a lift too.

How my day started..
Picked up the engine to drop it off at my house and wait for the friends with the lift...


we carried the engine out of the van and onto a skateboard..mann that shyte is heavy..


starting to make sure everything is correct..

Finally after dealing with the damn engine mounts and about an hour the engine is in place more pics soon..

hahaha you guys are funny no i'm a massage therapist and also i deliver the news paper it brings in really good money...yeah the rods are made by eagle but sold through a different company..and the spacers are from miataroadster you can blame them...i'm breaking in the engine now hopefully i should be tuning it in like two weeks or so doing one run on race gas probably with a 60-1 i wanna see 500hp..hehe..and doing a street tune for like 350 or so..it's going to be fun

 

In that they all come from China? Yes. But not from the same factory or with the same details.

Eagle will be shipping their first Miata rods this week to distributors.

 

They are "eagle-style" rods, but definitely not Eagle rods. Sorry.
