Too bad they're black. Looks great but so much work...
That's my hangup, that and initially the reason to ditch the BRZ was to get something more powerful. But I also know the Miata is noticeably quicker than the BRZ and get's dramatically better gas mileage...........also convertible which I miss having.

I already own 3 black NA's. I sure as hell know my ND won't be black, or red for that matter. Mazda really needs to bring out some better brighter colors for the MX5.
I got my ND in black, have to say i like the color, but good lord i am washing it damn near every day....On top of that it also has a black interior...so much black - having trouble deciding what color to go with for my wheels..gunmetal, maybe a nice copper?
Then tungsten or beryllium 6ULs. Couldn't find a 6UL photo on a black one but... the ND is a really nice looking car, even gayed up with the red lugs and stickarzzzzzz.

I posted on their Facebook yesterday, they confirmed the plan is to eventually offer these to the public. Of course I would suspect that would be deep into next year.

I believe Emilio has already suggested as such, but I'm not searching back through the entire thread.
I know for sure it needs an oil cooler at MINIMUM. But the only company to offer one so far is Mishimoto and I'm not getting anywhere near that garbage.
Yup, both diff and trans coolers suggested for extended track use. Mazda halved the lubricant capacity in the ND diff to save weight over the NB, NC diffs. We run Amsoil SVG in the OEM Auburn LSD and OS 80w250 in the OS Giken but have to change it constantly.
For the 8 months or so we had the AIM MXL2 and all the sensors in it, we saw big temps. CSF rad works for N/A. Not tested on F/I yet as we don't have a trans that will survive 200lb tq that our AVO kit generates.

Hopefully they don't get lost with the billet water pump plate for use with an electric water pump kit they were testing a couple years ago to be released to the public.

Emilio, when you say "extended track usage" do you mean more than the average 15-20 minute HPDE sessions?
For a normal HPDE guy, how much would you shorten up the fluid change intervals for the trans and diff. Match oil change intervals?
That would be fine with me as anything I buy is only going to see 300-ish street miles per month.

Bit off topic but did anyone notice the watermark on the pic of the black ND? Company calling itself RavSpec. They sell wheels. What floors me is that Ravs was a stamp that Konig put on a Volk CE28 copy about 5 years ago. Real CE28's are net forged, the word "FORGED" on the wheel/ Konig's cast copy also had the "FORGED" stamp (doh). The brand, instead of the genuine Rays was "Ravs Eng". Some other company began marketing straight up Volk copies under the Vork wheels, Ravs engineering brand back around 2005.
So "Ravs" became a cool JDM thing to some millennials starting an online wheel store a few years ago. I'm probably the only one that finds this funny.

No analysis. No recorded intervals, just more frequently than our NB's seeing the same usage. Glen and Long Road Racing warned us that the diff and trans cook on track. The diff in particular. We shared that info here almost two years ago. No science on our part.
