Next weekend i`m swapping in a 99 motor to replace my dying 94 motor.

I have the knowlege and tools to do it with just want to make sure i`m not missing anything.

Included in this motor swap the 99 engine will get;
New timing belt
New tensioner and idler
New water pump
New cam seals
New front and rear main seal
New valve cover seal

Intake manifold is getting port matched including plemun(sp) and throttle body.
Might also port match exhaust manifold.
EGR blocked off

Engine bay cleaned

Debating Mazda comp motor mounts.
Debating blocking off the heater hoses as I plan on removing the complete heater and blower system.

Is there anything i`m missing that I should do ?

Car already has a 4-2-1 Header, ACT prolite flywheel, ACT HD 6 puck clutch.

 

You're probably going to break the motor mounts trying to get the engine out of the car and the competition mounts from Mazdaspeed aren't too bad price wise. Good luck with your swap.
