Can't ever make up my mind on anything.

I have factory optioned mudflaps. They're very functional, and I kinda like the way they look...

But I like the way the car looks without them too.

Also keen to the body colored mudflaps...

Opinions..

You don't need them. IMO it's cleaner without them. I think all the damn badges on the back are dumb too. Makes the car too busy IMO. Take'em off.

Some people do, mine are body color from the factory. I don't have front flaps though either.

 

Mudflaps on Miatas are 50/50... some hate and some love... no middle ground. I might take mine off for a few weeks and see how I like it now that you mention it.

 

i like the look without them, but if you keep the mudflaps on your car is only 1 ft. off of the ground instead of 2

 

I have just the rear flaps and I like them

 

I like flaps on a stock car, mine actually had them, no idea where they went, i think the ninjas stole them out of my parts room. Anyways, do not paint them, there are two different kinds of flaps, paintable and non, unless they were painted from factory, yours are not meant to be painted and will soon crack and peel, no matter what primer or method you use. Leave them stock as they are, your fenders will thank you.


btw, you said 'my dealership', are you a DP?

 

I like having the mud flaps. Almost looks like the car is missing something without them.
I prefer them unpainted since they hang down in the rocker area, that is black anyway.
