Default My car is very ******* ghey now......

Just got back from the shop. They crush bent the piping becuase i was to cheap *** for mandrel but i figure its 3" piping so even at the crushed part its still bigger than needed. Yes it it very loud and i dont care becuase 1. I get turned into a LOT 2. Im 19 (I like loud things) and its soon to have a legit 260+ wheel hp so it will have the speed to match the sound 3.it was cheap and i have the stock racing beat exhuast system + cat if i get sick of it. Enjoy

haha prolly sounds like my car. Down pipe, midpipe with no cat, and a turndown off of the midpipe.

lol right on dude this thing is so ******* loud now its funny. Im sure I will get sick of it soon but its summer, i have a LOT of money to burn (and it was cheap), and its something different.

if you wanted it crazy loud and no muffler why not just have it stop after the cat?

Jesus, I know what that sounds like. I took off my catback for ***** and giggles one night and it was deafening. Don't get pulled over. :thumbsup:

I might try that, but I found that when I was dumping right after my midpipe fumes were getting into the cabin. It dumped barely after the diff. I fabed a little turndown and the fumes are fine now, but I wonder how they would be if you were dumping like directly under you.

the crush bends after that are pure restriction.

If you cut it anywhere under the car before the rear axle the sound goes strait into the cabin instead of out the back. Then it's REALLY loud, if it goes near the rear of the car it is tolerable.

doesnt have to be loud to make power. I went open DP once or twice in my turbo car. Gave me a headache, plus I dont like the cops looking at me. The less noise the better imho

I saw Emilio700's car the week after he drove on the track without a muffler. The heat from the Voodoo turbo melted the rear bumper into a Dali painting.

You don't know loud until you've driven your miata with open headers to the exhaust shop. It would make your exhaust sound lexus quiet in comparison. Case closed.
