ok so i just finish swapping a newer (43k miles) 1.6l engine into my car and took out my 165k engine.
problem is the car wont seem to idle properly. if you hold the door on the AFM open it will idle but it wont when you let it close.
any ideas?

now you need to figure out the next problem
"ok so i double checked all the vacuum lines i could find and found 2 that werent properly/fully connected…i fixed those and now it idles, yay! lol
i took her for a test drive around the block and she felt like she has no bottom end power…..like its slow getting up to about 4k then feels normal like she should….i can put to the pedal to the floor and she literally goes nowhere.

the flapper door controls the fuel pump. try the same thing with GND and F/P jumped. I betcha it is just a vacuum leak and the flapper isn't getting pulled open to turn the pump on.
