at one point before fast and furious ruined street races, I had a group of friends with anywhere from 5-12 400whp+ turbo vr6s. We owned on the highways.

ive owned 2 boosted 240sx's... both sr20's mildly modded running mid to low 13's. I cant wait till my miata gets there because it is such a better overall car. Megasquirt is being built so im slowly getting there... :-)

It was probably one of those "interfooler" fake intercoolers that ricers put on their cars.

Lol. He didn't have a front bumper as if to advertise it too. The turbo sounded big though. It had a real nice deep.... GOBBLE GOBBLE GOBBLE

Yup Yup Yup, I am hoping that we can get a good miata turnout out there tomorrow evening. I am going to get there around 5pm to get settled a play a bit before it gets too late. I'll make a couple runs and then sit back and watch others.

I'm only going to be running 12psi, so I'm everyones game!!!

I dont think they are open at 5. IIRC they dont open till around 6 or 6:30. Its been years since watching drag racing got boring fast.

Default Another Racing Story

Man, The it was kind of foggy out tonight, but still raced for a bit. I watched for a little while, then as soon as I started to warm the motor up they reported that they were going to close down early due to the fog....oh well, next time I will find out for sure what I run.

On another note, I have another racing story.

I was driving home on 3 lanes and there was a Mustang taunted another car ahead of me. I was like, why not go up there an taunt the Mustang? We were going about 50,when I got next to him I downshifted to 4th to signify that I wanted a go at him. We dropped the hammer and to my surprise he didn't just wromp on me (I am only running 12psi BTW). By the time I was at the end of 4th I was a car length ahead of him. The speed limit is 55mph and 4th ends up at about 95mph, So I just let off then. I slowed down to exchange a pleasant wave, but he told me to pull over at a store because he wanted to know why the heck a miata beat him. At that point I found out that he had a Built 95 5.0 Mustang bored .030 over. He's running a 150 shot on it, of course he didn't hit me with that. On Spray he runs a 11.3 and all motor he runs a 13.1. He said that the way I was pulling on him he estimated me to be around a 12.5-12.7. But, that's estimations and I hope to find more definate numbers soon.

Thanks for reading the novel about A Little Miata That Could.

BTW, I still hook up in 2nd just fine
