Well, On a 2L I expect that turbo to get full boost around 4500rpm. I expect to shift at about 7500...I'd say maximum engine speed of around 8000, I don't see a need to spin it any faster then that.
I have Bill's Billet Steel Oil Pump gears, so I don't have to worry about those breaking.

I'm thinking that i am going to run Race gas above 20psi, pump gas below 20psi.

have you thought about water/methanol injection, there's a whole section on this board for it, i'm not a big fan for a street car but a race car could be fun to see how far you could get on pump. also i'd personally love to explore e-85 but i don't have any close enough to me

um now i'm not really sure what the guy was running(240sx btw), after a little research there's a few flavors of sc61's, i didn't know that. i see a t3/61 and a full t4 based sc61. I'd imagine a t3/61 in full ball bearing would be the best spooling and probably still be able to flow enough for 500whp, probably what you have.

I thought about doing water/methanol injection. But, how often am I really going to exceed 20psi on the street? Things aren't set in stone, I may end up doing before the project ends.
My BB SC61 is a .63 A/R T3 turbine side. I had a straight T3 w/ a .63 A/R on my 1.8 before and it spooled at right at 4000rpm. For Reference, I took note that "Eliminator77" made 538whp on the .63 A/R.

I'd be happy with 500+ whp numbers. It was built to make 550 whp, but I like to be conservative with my numbers.
I think the only thing that is going to hold me back is my clutch. Which is only rated to the high 300's in torque. Time will tell where it will start to slip in a real world application.

Why not just buy a used small block chevy off of ebay, turbo that and shoe horn it in, chances are you will make more power for less and get down the track faster. Unless your goal is to be a pioneer.
I am no expert, but I am just curious to here your logic for investing so much money into this 4cyl if you are drag racing.

Reasons for doing this 4 cylinder...none really...that's just the route I decided to go. Of course, this project kind of snowballed on me...which would be a more logical answer.
WI is something I will do in the near future. I just want to allocate my funds in the direction of safety and finishing up the car to get it moving.
Wideopentuning, I will be getting a hold of you whenever I decide to proceed to that step.
I did forget a couple of parts in my list:
Bill's Billet Steel Oil Pump Gears
FM Valve Springs
Short Throw Shifter on the 6 Speed
Throttle Body is of a Mustang GT - 70mm

I should have some more pics for you guys pretty soon.
It is getting close to first start-up. HOPEFULLY, in the next couple of days. Just waiting on the DP to get finished up and everything on the exhaust side installed.
