When I went into get my hoses for my coolant setup, I told the guy at the counter the wrong info. He cut the hose and was about to give them to me, when he remembered my voice from the phone. The counter guy said hey when you called didn't you ask for 5/8ths. Now this guy took are of me, but if he would have sold me the wrong size it would not have been his fault it was mine, I told him what I wanted. I offered to pay for the other piece because his waste would have been my fault, but he said it wasn't a problem. This guys seems like a troll to me.

Why is this thread even still here, 21 post in less than 24 hours, and the newb 's(MadMan ll) only post is an accusation that any reasonable person would think is lame, if not dishonest. Seems like a BS post to me that might need to be close.

 

I've bought stuff from Brian, including wheels, asked for advices too, and the experience has been great every time. Good-Win-Racing is one of the best Miata vendors out there.

yeah.. even my gf gives me **** for having a miata.(she's a hardcore subaru girl) She has yet to ride in it though. I long for the day when we take a ride and watch her zip those lips.

 

I get that MadMan may not have ordered the right parts, or maybe even forgot what he mentioned (or he could have just lied), but that's to be expected of the general public. People **** up, and they make mistakes, and they try not to look dumb. Also, they hate it when their money is wasted (even if its their fault).

The Reply I would have returned to him would be "The price to cancel the order entirely is $XXX. If you would like to purchase the new combination through us, it will cost $XXX. I'm sorry you did not receive what you wanted the first time, I hope we can communicate better in the future" Or something like that.

Foot the guy the bill to correct his mistake and if he doesn't want to pay because he doesn't feel its his responsibility; take him to court/cancel order.

I think Brian did get a little overzealous on the emails there, but I'm sure I'm not getting 100% of the story.

 

Seems like alot of confusion going on there. Why not just call him on the phone instead of playing email tag?

I've ordered a few things from him and never had any problems. Actually the last order I placed was for 6UL's with tires and he even let me pay for just the wheels to hold them for me, then I called him up and finished placing the order and had everything within a couple days. Good guy with great customer service.
