This is how I bought the miata... I did the flat black and plan on getting a new hood and fix the headlight... Apperently the previous owner thought it would look cool with a few holes??? lol

i have a bunch of friends up at uconn that are into subarus. i just swapped my brothers OBS with a 2.5... pulled a wrx motor out of an 03 roll over to go into a 99 RS.... and am in the middle of helping my friend with a version 2 RHD wrx swap into a 93 1.8 fwd 4dr, lol. My friend up here daily drives a 93 with a Ver. 5 STI swap.

basically ive done more modding of subaru's lately than miatas.

 

No swap yet, just been running out of money just before I actually find a good donor engine. This is a 1999 2.5RS with custom intake, borla headers and catback, ect ect. I'm really looking to race it at the upcoming SCCA event at the end of march in tulsa.

Miatas are a new thing for me as well. My friend who had a shop was closing down and I traded my cheap 40gig PS3 for this car. lol

I have such a soft spot for older legacies, I just saw a really nice lowered one today.

And I kind of liked the 04 STIs, but amen on the GC8 being the best. My friend has an RSTI and its a ******* beast, here let me ***** a pic:

 

The GC8s were all I wanted in high school.

The guys at the Subie dealer in Beaumont knew me by name, and would always let me peek around, sit in them, and grab the latest brochures.

Hadn't thought about them in ten years, but this thread makes me wanna hit CL too.
