I was only running 20psi. He dynoed at low 400whp numbers, so I didn't do too bad.

He has CAI, Long-Tube Headers, an awesome cam, and has been tuned. Pretty well modded himself.

So....who in the Houston area wants to run me?

BTW, on the starts it wasn't the lag that made me start extremely slow...I waited until he got on the throttle to floor it.

Haha, I still have another 10psi to go....up to 30psi. I'm running 93 octane, maxing it at 20 psi until I get MI...then I am going to put together my 30 psi tune.

Next weekend Bryceness and I am putting in the 3.6 gears.

Mike, I will walk you with my Greddy kit at 6 psi and a blown diff.

Streetfire comments remind me of youtube comments, I can't decide which is worse.

 

I say MI because I am going to be running more Methanol then Water. I'm doing it for octane, not for cooling. The intercooler keeps Intake temperatures at pretty much ambient (plus a little bit from engine compartment heat).

BTW, I haven't seriously researched W/MI. So, it me have deminishin returns going past a 50/50 mix on Methanol...dunno yet...but like I said, haven't researched it a whole heck of a lot.

 

What do you have done to the engine?

hell, from a roll i was taking c6s. had a guy reallyed pissed at me on the way to work one day....really wanted to get by my and tried to burn by me on the right....he was not amused, especially at 120mph and still not pulling....

I have no doubt about being able to top it out (power wise)...but getting over 170 in a miata sounds a little extreme to me.
