Your motor looks awesome. But how much more awesome would hemi orange have been? Ok so it probably woulda sucked and not match anything at all
Originally I wanted to paint everything, and I mean everything, white like the $$$ race cars. I remember when I was in europe looking under the hood of a DTM car and saw that everything was powdercoated white. That way they knew if the car was clean or not.

I went with silver to spot leaks when they start. I don't plan on ever driving this car in the rain, so it should stay fairly clean.

Its going to look even more sweet with all the stainless steel BEGi heat sheilds, intake box, rad cover, and nickel colored ceramic coating exhaust parts. They almost match perfectly. The exhaust parts are just a little darker. The intercooler pipes match the valve cover too, lol. This car is going to be off tha hizzle.

I think Flyin Miata does it farther back when they do oil returns off the car. If John Day did it, I am sure he is use to tapping with the engine out.

Ooooh, Ive seen that before. And it does look pretty awesome. But I like a lil color, so I think the silver will look better than an all white would.

let me know when it gets up to 108* in the UK. We see heat intex temps of 118* in the summer here, and its humid...sometimes we spontaneously combust.

It gets so hot here..... I would go crazy if someone tried to take away my AC. I think it would involved hospitalization for the party involved.
If you need the extra power that the AC takes away. THAT IS WHAT NOS IS FOR. NEVER TAKE AWAY AC IN TEXAS!

You Texans are all pussies. I grew up in south Florida. My first car was a VW Beetle, and my second car was also a VW Beetle. No A/C, no defogger, not even a meaningful interior fan. When it started to get unbearable, you just opened another beer.

A/C... Might as well just have another blended frozen Margarita...

You south Floridians are just into sweaty man buttocks and chests is all. I wonder where you are inserting that beer after it is opened?

I've been to florida. It's not the same.
And there is nothing better than to have a 20 min ride to work and get out with a wet sweaty shirt like you have been jogging. Sorry, I don't like to stink or be around nasty people.

No one wants to be that guy. The claimy one that sweats gravy at work.

But if you had to choose either AC or a turbo. Forget the 1/32nd HP and 1/64newton meter of torque. 95rwhp with AC or 200rwhp without......errrr no contest lol

Seriously tho I'm with Joe on this one. You have a turbo convertible. Put the ******* roof down and go faster. Otherwise buy a coupe.

Well, then I guess us Texans should just man up then. After all, those Bristol UK summers are notoriously harsh, so if you can take it, so can we. Over here, our mild South Texas summers pale in comparison to those brutal Bristol temperatures in the English Desert. After all, this month, here we are only averaging about 35C for our daily high, and have only hit 40C so far this year....
