so I wake up this morning to take my brother to work and when I tried to open the passenger door it wont open. I unlocked the door from the inside and nothing happens. Have any of u guys had this problem??? And now i how am i suppose to check the locking mechanism if i cant remove the door panel without opening the door. someone help this noob out

Never happened to me in the 5 years I've owned my car, but I would try to lock and unlock the door from outside repeatedly a few times and hopefully it will do the trick. If not, then you have to take off the panel with door closed, and I don't forsee that too difficult either. You may need to take the seat out to gain clearance, again, no big deal!

You might have rip the door panel off and take a look at the door mechanism.

 

And if you need a new door b/c you ended up plasma cutting the door skin and structure out of frustration, let me know, I have two passanger doors for sale and one driver side.

nice one kotomile i was thinking about it but problem fixed. I just played with the lock using the key for about 3 minutes i heard a small click and the door opened perfectly. NOw I can give my brother a lil test drive because he wanted to feel how my greddy kit would feel with the new Exedy stage 2 clutch i just had installed. He still thinks his turbo 420a eclipse can beat me

 

WTF is 420a eclipse? Either way 2nd gen 4G63 motor is a POS!

 

the 420a is basically a neon motor that non turbo eclipse used to have. its pretty quick easily takes on srt4's and keeps up with evo's not evo MR's and he is only boosting 7psi.
