Default My wheels bug me...

I love my car, but I think I hate my wheels. They were the only thing the original owner put on the car, and I am owner #2, and I need a change. I really want black 6UL's, but my Motegi's are 16x7 with 205/45 toyo proxes. I like the tires, they actually hook up and they look good. Why don't they make 16" 6UL's? What other black or prefferably 16" gun metal wheel do you guys think would look good on my car?

Here's a filty photo of my car. The Motegi's actually don't look bad, but Black 6UL's or similar would look better...

Yea, you need new wheels and less 4x4.

Sears special. I almost bought those heavy things for my Altima.

I might have a lead on gunmetal; 15x9 U6Ls with brand new RS3s in 225/45/15.

Yeah, definitely time for an upgrade and lower that thing down a little.

So I have 16x7's now, unsure of the offset. What size 6ul / tire size is the way to go? I'm assuming I should also get springs...I just don't want a harsh ride as my car rides really good right now with stock springs / shocks and FM sways.

There's plenty of nice and inexpensive 16" wheels out there. You just need to look around.

I was just on tirerack. They don't have 1 single wheel that does anything for me.

They don't look that bad they are just way too heavy. Those wheels at 20lbs for the 16x7. That is REALLY heavy.

that is seriously heavy. the 18's on my VW are 20lbs and they're considered heavy for 18s.

type in "4x100 16" on eBay? Type it into google and use the 'shopping' link? There are TONS of places to look for wheels. Discount tire, MachIII.net, EdgeRacing.com....it's seriously mind-boggling how many places there are to buy wheels out there.

If you honestly think Toyo Proxes "hook", you need to drive on real tires....
