NB peeps, lets see your steering wheel
Do you guys continue to use your airbag compatible seat belts with these after market steering wheels? Cutting the loop out or getting jdm/cdm non-airbag seatbelts? Or just praying you don't bust your face on it in an accident?
Just looked around and cant find a pic.
Basically the belt is sewn to itself making a tiny loop. This loop rips open upon hard impact.
Others will explain it better than me, but basically with no airbag and this loop intact its a possibility for it to rip open in a collision and you getting a mouthfull of steering wheel.
My wheel has a crush-able hub so you wouldn't need to do this sorta thing, but it was already undone when I bought the car.
