So after washing my 2002 NB2 the tach, and only the tach (all other gauges in the cluster appear to working as they should), would work intermittently for about a day then just stopped working all together. The rpms still register in tuner studio it's just the actual tach not reading. Thought it was a fuse, nope, all good. So my next thought was a bad or corroded ground since this happened just after washing the car. So my initial question is, where in the hell is the ground for the tach on an NB2 and second, would anyone here be able to provide additional insight on another issue that would cause this and where to check next for a possible solution? Any feedback on this so I'm not chasing my tail all weekend would be greatly appreciated.
