You feel stupid for not knowing the abbreviation of the word "Down Pipe" but are perfectly content on your complete and total lack of comprehension and attempt to communicate with others in the language of English?

Another question more about the point.. You said in the first post you weren't watching the AFR gauge, then later mentioned you don't have a wideband controller and sensor? What good does that do?

Why do you not know the specifics of your car? Did you buy the car like it sits or write a check to some crappy 'performance' shop to hack together an install?

^Aw, come on Juan, what the **** man? The kid is trying, and he's answering all my questions. This thread has been up for weeks now and talkin **** towards the very end when he's got it almost straightened out is crap. I already talked to him about the AFR gauge and he explained how the car came to be the way it is. Find something better to do online and quit being an ******* in threads you didn't read all the way through and then talked **** about things already discussed.

Andy, did you buy the standard replacement plug, or did you get a one-step-colder plug. Check the FAQ in the DIY section for the exact part number recommended to buy to help with heat transfer in the combustion chamber.

The new fuel pump will help out a lot. Like I said, I don't think fuel is your problem anymore. You should be fine now.

The best thing you can do at this point is to get something to manage your timing. The prices on Bipes have come down tremendously lately. See about picking one up to get some of your low-end power back. It'll allow you to raise your base timing back up to 12-14* and still be safe in the higher rev's, as the box will pull timing back to a safe level for you.
