Default New Motor... What to do with the Old One?

I just finished replacing my rather tired BP4w with a vvt motor in my 99. Before I pulled the old bp4w i did a compression test and the motor has 111-115psi dry (155 wet) across all 4 cylinders. Granted this was with the crappy harbor freight compression tester which is known to read low. That being said... it seems to run well except for the part where it burns about a 1/2 qt of oil in a 20 minute session.

So what do I do with the old motor/head. I was thinking of just throwing it in the corner of the garage and try to do enough research to learn how to rebuild the bottom end. Then maybe drop it into an na street car project or something.

What would you do if this was yours?
-Sell it? if so... how much is a tired 99 block and 115k mile bp4w head worth?
-Keep it to rebuild the bottom end?
-have the bottom end rebuilt and then sell it?
-Sell bp4w head and keep bottom end to rebuild it?

I'm thinking selling the head and keeping the block might be the way to go... I figure the short block is worth maybe 100 bux max and the head is prob worth 300-400. Willing to pull the head and post pictures if it appeases the miataturbo.net gods.

What say you merry band of crassholes?

If you track a lot, keep and rebuild as a spare.

If you don't track a lot, sell it to me.

No care about location, plus dibs trumps all.
