Default Will anNB wiper motor swap into an NA?

Reassembling my 89 NA after paint and I have somehow managed to strip the bolt holding the wiper arms/rods arm on to the splined shaft of the motor...

Cant believe everything went back together and i managed to screw that up...

My friend has a crashed, wrecking for parts 98 NB. I am hoping he still has the motor and that it will fit.........

The windshield wiper motors and their mountings are different, specifically, there were changes in the 89 production run mid-year. I can't identify those changes for you, but I know that parts from the beginning of the 89 production run are incompatible with parts from the end of the 89 production run. You will need your VIN to determine. I was able to get a motor for VIN # 203 from FM salvage, though they're no longer operating salvage. You might need to try planetmiata.com or isellmiataparts.com. Those are two of the more well-known miata salvage vendors.

When did FM stop salvage? They were great for having random small bits that other places didnt for some reason and/or charging less for them. I got some stuff like 2 months ago. Like the $200 vvt oil pipe for like 10 bucks.

Since they recently put a message on their webpage saying "FM Salvage is closed for the forseeable future"
