‘99 turbo decided to remove AC as track only car. Purchased and installed new sized for just the two pulleys remaining. All seemed fine took to track came off two times while on track. Looks like belt grooves are not deep enough for crank pulley as it’s not sitting below the lip. Looks ok on power steering pump. Belt was tight both times. Should I try I different belt? Pulleys appear to be aligned. Kind of baffled?

 

Did you check both of your PS bracket bolts? Mine did the same thing when I had only AC removed and it turned out the bolt behind the PS pulley was backing out allowing the pump to move around slightly.

 

I sure thought I did but was at the track so maybe I didn’t?
