Default no antifreeze

Hi,
i don't have antifreeze in my coolant and it gets very cold overnight. I drained the coolant through the radiator.
I also had leftover anti freeze that I filled into the heater core.
Is that enough or can there still be enough water in the block to cause damage?
Thanks.

You still need antifreeze in the engine block. I doubt any antifreeze from the heater core made it into the block unless you ran the engine a little bit.

You'll need to run the engine with the antifreeze in the closed system.

frank,
Are you trying to drain the block of fluid for the winter?
