Default No A/C after installing MSPNP2

I installed a MSPNP2 a couple months ago and now the A/C button no longer activates the compressor. Is there a setting on the MSPNP or a jumper that was missed?

Some additional Info would be helpful for anyone willing to help you on something that you could easily research yourself. such as what year your miata is...

but if you would like to check to see if the appropriate jumpers were installed you can reference these links.

Hey,

I had quite a long way to get the AC to work as it should...
I had to change the original wiring in order to intercept the compressor turn on signal before it will turn the compressor on in order to rise the idle rpm a little.

My wiring was ok as long as I used the beta version that included the parameter that triggered the gslender ac idle up, this parameter was removed at a certain beta and I had to wait to 3.2.2 In order to complate the ac setup.
Megasquirt Support Forum (MSEXTRA) • MS2/Extra firmware 3.3.2 released - use this (View topic)

btw, the wiring was according to gslender moded fw.

Hope I helped(?)

The MSPNP2 DIYPNP

Regardless, the MSPNP2 should be enabled for a/c out of the box. If not, get it touch with the vender DIYAUTOTUNE.com that you bought it from for support.

FWIW, the MSPNP2 manual tells you how to setup your hardware and software to make a/c idle work in the MSPNP2: MegaSquirtPNP by DIYAutoTune.com

The AC Idle up feature allows the engine idle speed to be increased when the AC compressor is engaged. This feature requires the use of either the PE1 or Flex input to function. The input to be used is jumper selectable and is set by default to Table Switch.

...

AC Idle Up is activated in TunerStudio under the Startup/Idle tab > Air Conditioning Idleup. The graphic below shows the Idle Up dialog box and outlines the settings.
Jumper #3 must be set correctly and the software must match the jumper.
