Is it sad that a main consideration of me getting orders back to Hampton Roads is so that I can be around my Virginia crew again... and I don't even own a Miata anymore.

us locals just do it from time to time. A bunch of people meet up in Manasas more often to do a coffee and drive thing. then there's the mazda of washington club.

we just like to sit around and talk about turbos and cats and eat pizza and drink beer.

 

BRZ.

it's as stupid as the Acura ZDX head removal system.

 

The BRZ seemed alright, the engine did sit super low, it looked decent. Scion didn't have their model. The hot scion girl there hit on me for a good 10 minutes and I would have gotten digits until at some point the conversation revealed she went to a Christian school and was very religious. At that point I spent the rest of the conversation trying to end it and leave.

She did manage to reveal prior to that, that the FRS will be at the chicago and detroit autoshow, and that it's basically the same thing as the suby, just the package options differ. Which I basically already knew.

I did find it funny that shitty companies like honda, ford, chevy and nissan would not let me pop the hood on their vehicles, but Mercedes, Audi and BMW were all happy to open the hood on their high end cars and let me snoop around.

 

let you pop the hood? we were just doing it ourselves. sadly some had the handles removed or the batteries disconnected. Like the Focus ST
