Default Oil Dilution By Gas

I think this hapened to me, as I was running really rich. Has anyone else had this problem? Lotsa white lingering smoke from the exhaust.

i believe it's happened to me as well. I was just reading about running too rich can cause "watered" down oil....I'm thinking this may be why I get blow-by and white smoke...not a bad engine, since I'm hitting 10.8:1 after 5.5k

Should you be boosting an engine if you don't know what a/f numbers are? Get a wideband. I wouldn't even consider boosting a lawnmower without one.

lazzer408:

2 things:

1) I don't have a turbo on my car anymore. I took it off. I have however, owned 5 turbo vehicles prior to my miata.

2) I know what A/F numbers are. I do have a wideband. Maybe it was b/c I've been tired recently, or the context, but it didn't compute.

Why don't you go turbo your lawnmower, I just asked a simple question

I just wanted to make sure your watching out for your setup. Hate to see you pop an engine. If anyone knows Kevin Penny I know him and I think he actually boosted a lawnmower once. lol
