Stop throwing water on them while they are hot to cool them down!!! I always thought cast manifolds were "bullet proof" and no one ever hardly had issues. You are the exception I guess.

Man.. I wish there was some kind of direct cause. But I know far better than to put cold water on a hot manifold! I was long done washing/drying the car when I opened the hood.

I don't get it... I really don't. The install was done very carefully, with help from a friend who owns a reputable shop so i'll nix the idea it was installed wrong. I never spray water on the engine when it's hot, car was tuned by a VERY well known tuner/shop, so I doubt it's anything to do with it running hot, all th exhaust hangers are on properly and when we hooked the exhaust up during the install, we put everything together loosely and made sure everything was aligned/not pulling before final tightening, i've done a few auto-x's this year... but that's not exactly as hard as full day track sessions (guess i'm not doing the PDX at Road Atlanta this upcoming week :( ) To put it in English, i'm not doing anything unusual.

W T F.

(by the way, I am in no way mad at FM or anything....just perplexed). I'm sure Keith/Bill will take care of the situation properly

On a lighter note...

BEAT THIS **** HUSTLER!!!!!

I swear..if I ever hear someone say that i just have some pretty little car... i'll shove a cracked manifold up their ***....that doesn't happen from hard parking.

Yeah dude, I don't **** around with taking pics even when using a cheap point-and-shoot... i hate when people post shitty pics when all it's takes is an extra 5 seconds to set a camera to the correct settings to take a picture.

Back on topic, sucks man regardless of getting it fixed. Downtime stinks. What DP/midpipe/exhaust are you running out of curiosity?

What the heck do you do to that poor car? From what I recall, you've busted two manifolds (from two different manufacturers, from what I recall), an intake cam (!), a PPF - stuff that nobody else manages to take out. Weird.

You've already talked to Brandon from what I hear. We'll take care of you.

Hey now.. at least all these parts aren't going to waste like some of those hard-park idiots!!

Did I not tell you guys that if you needed new products to go under heavy testing, to send them to me?? I wasn't kidding lol I mean, I do drive the car, I daily the car..but I don't outright abuse the car... it's not like I am drag launching at every light, i'm not spraying the exhaust with a hose after i've been driving, i'm not getting the car red hot and turning it off.....

It seems I get the unusual stuff...

I've broken two FM manifolds now too, nothing as bad as that though.
the studs are always breaking off of mine.
I've since added a flexpipe to my exhuast for ***** and giggles
They seem to be holding up so far with the 10MM hardware.
