Default Paid for item not received

Hello all! Writing this to say HI and and see what you all think of what has transpired with my first experience with Miataturbo.net
I am new to this forum and I must say I am not impressed, mainly due to one member here. It seems I got here from a link about a post for some lug nuts that NA8PSI posted.
Here is the post: https://www.miataturbo.net/stuff-sale-trade-70/free-look-inside-48136/
Well to make a long story short, I paid the money on June 7th. Still have not received the lug nuts. It is now June 29th. I have PM'd NA8PSI multiple times. First on the 17th to see if the lugs might be on the way, and was given a lame excuse of
"I havent been home much, i'll let you know when I ship".
Waited 7 more days and still no item. PM'd again...no response. 3rd and 4th times...no response. I think this is really crappy of NA8PSI to do this. It might only be $5, but that is no excuse. I just bought some new rims, seen this post/add and thought...cool! So I waited for the lugs so I could put on my new rims, but now
NA8PSI has decided to rip me off, of my $5 and not send the lugs. 22 days without the rims on, because I waited for this jerk to send the lugs! I could have bought them at a store, no problem. It's not the money. I saw the post, paid for them, and waited for this jerk to send them. HE DIDNT! I dont like being ripped off, period!
Looks like some good info on here, but I would hope this site is not full of peeps like him!
So....what do you all think of all this?

Really? I know when you pay for something you want it in a timely fashion, but come on dude... coming in here and bashing a well-respected member over a $5 "purchase" without even posting full details? Relax.

Wow...you paid for shipping (a flat rate box), and are being a turd about it. I'm pretty sure that would be a back burner item to me as well.

Yes, he should be timely about it, but I don't think anyone would "rip you off" over that kind of measly dough.

I do think the lack of communication stinks, but he's probably just afraid to say "I'm a slacker and haven't run these to the post office yet".

Either way this is one of those that you write off, not start a thread over. You don't even have an intro thread here and you're fagging up our forum with this ****?

I would also check before he ships to make sure that these will work with "rims" since I'm pretty sure they're designed to hold wheels on.

EDIT: In reality I would usually do this kind of transaction as an "I ship them at my leisure, and you pay me at that point" kind of deal.

Just be glad you didn't send $5 to Hustler, you'd really be upset at the result.

I did post full details! There is a link! What do you want, copies of PM's!
A Ripoff is a Ripoff. Same as going into my wallet and taking $5. Its NOT the money! It's the principle! I also thought you might like to know what went down. If it were you, YOU WOULD NOT BE HAPPY ABOUT IT!
I reserve the right to NOT be ripped and voice it when I am! Its that attitude you seem to have too, oh...its only $5 It dont matter, $5, $50, $500 a deal is a deal!

NA8PSI made the deal and didnt hold his end of the deal.
Read my post, its more that I WAITED for this item and was not able to put on my rims, because of waiting. Believe me, I would rather have bought them new at the store!

Bash me all you want, you know i'm right!

BTW, I do a lot of selling and buying myself. I always make it a priority to get items to buyers as fast as I can. The amount paid means nothing. $5 or $500, the buyers get the items in 7 days or less!

You've more than doubled your post count in this thread alone by bitching about an established forum member. Whether or not he's right in what he did is no longer the issue, you handling **** the wrong way and being a douchebag is . I doubt you will ever see your freakin lugs now. You're probably planning on putting them on your miata anyway aren't you dumbass?

three weeks is gay no matter how much the item was. You advertise a sale, you abide by the terms.

Na8psi should do better on his part of communicating and following through in a punctual fashion; however, it is a $5 item you are getting worked up over that was technically free. If you are desperate to get these "rims" on the car, why can't you use the old lugs? It's not like you are waiting for this detrimental part to continue a major build...

I do agree with you though; I would also want to see some form of progress after paying for something, or at least communication. 3 weeks is pretty Posting a thread about this here was the wrong thing to do.

OP is right, but shouldn't have gone about it this way.

The guy that started a thread simply to call a guy a jerk doesn't resort to name calling. Sweet.
