Default Please help me identify a couple of things

I have pretty much dismantled the 94 R that I picked up Friday night. I have a couple of questions and hopefully you can help me price some items. Not items that will likely sell here but maybe m.net or CR.

I have these projector headlights. Can anyone identify the manufacturer? They are Hella lights and the enclosures are real carbon fiber layups. FIt was good and everything lined up in stock mounting locations. Everything is very dirty. It rained when I brought it home and the gravel road slimed everything so don't let that confuse you.

I have an AEM Cold Air Intake. It is CARBed and was on a CA car. Are these worth anything to a m.netter?

Here is the diff that was in the 94R. I haven't played with NA's in quite a while. Did Torsens come with two piece halfshafts? It surprised me but maybe they all did?

Finally, the PPF had this brace bolted to it. It bolted through each of the wiring harness holes and had new holes for the harness to snap into. It looks professionally produced and looks like Energy Suspension bushings that go between the brace and the PPF and the bolts go through them based in the molded-in numbers that look like the ES kit I installed. I've just never seen such a thing. Should I sell it or use it?

Headlights.

And if you cleaned up the intake, you could probably get $75-$100 for it.

Interesting. Thanks for the heads up on that. It's odd, the car has things like that brace, stainess braided brake lines, braided clutch line, but then some really goofy things.

It has some sort of a short shifter. When I bought it I tried to drive it and the shifter is dinky. You can hardly find reverse. I hate it.

It had those headlights and the wheels...

It has Superior 17 x 7.5 in the rear and 16 x 7 in the front. On an R. It still has the Bilsteins and both sways were set full hard, lol

Probably an eBay short shifter. Take some pics if you take it out anytime soon. I just rebuilt mine, they can be decent with a little modification.

The CAI looks pretty nice and will clean up easily. It's ZOMG chrome.

I think you will have better luck selling headlights and intake on CR, they go for those kind of things ($$$).

90-97 all had half shafts, so yes - Torsen had those too.

Use the PPF reinforcement, it's actually quiet good! (had one)

By the way, eBay shifter is ------- awesome with a shifter extender. You have same kind of shift throw as stock and it sits closer to the steering wheel, which is very handy on the track. Extenders can be had on eBay for under $10 shipped, just search for "miata shifter extender". And yes, it does make it much easier to find reverse

I don't have a CR login and I don't want to be one of "those guys". Anyone want to post some stuff there for me? I'll pay commission for a "highly regarded" CR member with a comma in their post count because we all know that's what matters. I'll pay 10% for a sale for the headlights at $300 and $100 for the AEM CAI, plus actual shipping.

Let me know and I'll get some clean shots.

I also have a R rear trunk spoiler and front and rear bumper covers. They, along with the front fenders have a "MAZDA DOT R" sticker in them. I can see the bumper covers as they are different to mount the spoilers but the fenders? Might be worth something to someone that is restoring a period correct low mile R that got tagged.

Good info, thanks. I'll try it and if I don't like it I'll swap in another stocker.

Oh. and one more thing. The gauge cluster has white faced gauges. Is that stock for a 94 or at the least an R? They look really nice. No pic handy but I can get one.

I'm pretty sure that all NA cars had black-faced gauges.

Gauges are not stock if they're white.

Hmm, there might be some interest in these. They do look sharp. I'll get a pic. They do reverse glow at night.
