I have recently purchased a few of the ingredients i will need to cuncoct my ideal of a perfect car. One issue i have run into is making room for my turbo. The power steering pump is too close to where i would like my compressor housing to sit. I found the bracket and pulley that is used in NA miatas that came without power steering, i also found the bracket for NB cars that came manual steering, however it seems that the only NBs that came with manual steering were 1.6l cars.
Has anyone come up with a solution to tensioning the AC belt without the power steering pump? Or does anyone know if the earlier bp bracket and pulley will work on a BP4W?

The 1.8 NA power steering delete pulley fits NB's if you can find one. It is winter, just take the belt off completely and keep any eye out for the pulley. Once you find the pulley you can throw the belt back on before summer and have your AC back.

Savington has the right idea. Freeing up power is not why i want to get rid of the P/S. I am purchasing a DOC race manifold which will position my HY35 right on top of the PS pump, and on top of that manual steering feels better to me. Taking the AC off is an option but its one im not interested in. You say its wionter, its 75 degrees here and this is the coldest week of the year.
Necro bump; Been searching an hour for the belt which just connects to the AC compressor versus ac compressor and PS pump.
I have the "unicorn" tensioner thingy, but mine is missing a pulley and I have no idea how to just get the pulley for cheap.
