question about 6 speed in 1.6

is it possible to put the 6 speed transmission on the 1.6 motor and retain the 1.6 drive shaft and rear end? Reason being because i have a good 1.6 LSD from ATS that i dont want to get rid of.

yes. it will raise your overall gear ratios though, as the final in the 1.6s were 4.3:1.
