Cheap 99 hats

Got my "hats" in today. Don't think any of the NB kits are actually complete. I got the Monroes, and they have everything EXCEPT for the actual top hat. Got the washer things, nut, and two rubber things in each box.

Going to try to find a source for cheap top hats (mazda calls it the "sheet"), will update if i'm successful.

Otherwise, i'll try to return these and just get the ISC hats, since they're cheaper than what FM sells the complete NB hats for.

Already talked to Jake, he still deserves his props.

Current part number for just the actual hats is: NC10-28-340c. You can get them from Moss for under $100 shipped to your door, probably a little cheaper on Ebay.

The Monroe kits i got were under $60 shipped to my door. You could conceivably piece together new NB top hat full assemblies for around $150.

What do you guys suggest i do at this point?

ALSO

There's multiple "hardness" ratings for those Integra Speedthane bump stops. "Medium" was linked. If FCM's guide spat out a 36/36 for me, do we use the medium? Or hard?

http://www.summitracing.com/search?S...hock%20bumpers

Their part numbering system makes no sense. 310-3019-59 is the 3" long "hard" bump.

As long as that pig is faster than any Miata we own, it stays.
