how much brake fluid to snag?
since i'm going to do a 1.8 upgrade in the next week or two, i need to pick up fluid this week. i want to make sure i do a nice complete flush, and am just curious how much fluid i should plan on getting.
a good buddy of mine who is a track instructor recommended Motul RBF600, and it seems like it comes in .5L bottles at the place i'm gonna buy it. just curious how much to get, since i haven't completely flushed the fluid in this car before.

Buy at least a quart. I'd get more, just so I had it on hand. Then again, I always have at least one unopened bottle in the garage. When you flush the stuff out, no matter how clean it looks, TOSS IT OUT! Don't ever reuse it. Also, once a bottle is opened, if it sits for very long (like 6 months or so), even if the bottle is capped, toss it. If you've ever had to rebuild a caliper from bad fluid, you'll regret using old stuff.
Better to flush more through the lines than you have to, just to be sure. Nothing more frustrating than a dragging caliper because someone didn't bleed it enough.
