Default Replacing Rear Shelf?

Has anyone replaced their entire rear shelf or know where to purchase panels to do so? I'm not trying to remove the covers, but the entire shelf to put in new metal. We cut too much material away trying both eliminate rust while installing the roll bar in my :NA.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

Got a picture so folks know what you're referring to? The sheet metal panel itself or gas tank panels or body panels or...?

The entire shelf that is outlined in orange in the picture (not my car) below. It looks like its just spot welded on, but I'm looking to see if there is any way to replace it. I'm assuming just drill out the spot welds and then I could either rivet new metal in place or put rivnuts in then bolt it all down. Are there any vendors that have new metal available?

I'm taking apart a wrecked shell. If I can get that piece loose, I'll sell it to you.
Buy a spotted cutter and some lube. The panels come apart pretty easily really.

Thanks for the tip. I'm thinking that I may try to replace it with a single sheet of aluminum or just leave it out all together. My understanding is that it isn't structural.

Antonio, where did you find that white piece for speakers to mount into? That's cool.

It's not my car, but I believe that is a carbonmiata piece.

That piece of metal is just about impossible to remove as a single piece. I also cut too much of mine while doing my roll cage install and I've been trying to come up with the best solution. I ended up cutting the entire shelf out along the curved line where the other piece of sheetmetal is spot welded on. It looks really good right now, but I don't like that the fuel filler lines are no longer separated from the cabin. My current setup is the same as every S2000 track car, but I'd still be more comfortable with sheetmetal between me and the fuel filler. The easiest solution I've found is this kit:

I've seen that as well and love the look of it. My primary concern is that I have a Blackbird Fabworx GT3 roll bar and I would imagine that the notches they have cutout for the tubing would not line up with my needs. I'm also concerned that if I ever decide to go back to a soft top, I wouldn't be able to easily do so. Maybe someone that has the AWR parts can chime in and give some guidance.

My assumption has always been that they ship it without any notches and then you cut it to fit your rollbar/cage. I could be wrong though.

That could very well be the case. I will definitely reach out to them if that's the route I decide to take. Worst case scenario, I could just ask them to make a set without any notches cut out.
